Beyond the Lake was shot over 5 days using 3 boats.
The crew was split into water and land teams.
“I had heard Steven Spielberg’s warning following the production of Jaws: “Do not shoot on open water.”
It took us six months to plan and four days to watch our schedule blow to pieces. But thanks to a resilient group of cast and crew members, and the herculean deeds of our Post Production team, through currents,
waves and bad weather it is with great pride that we present to the world Beyond the Lake.
One thing is for certain.
We should have listened to Mr. Spielberg's warning.”
